Today’s Thought
If someone tells you that this economy is Bush’s fault, ask them what he did, specifically, to cause the Housing bubble and lending crisis. If they say “Bush Tax Cuts” then ask them how, specifically, the Bush Tax Cuts relate to the Housing Bubble. If instead they answer “Bush kept interest rates too low” then ask why, if that was the problem, did Obama keep interest rates low, and why are they even lower now? It’s time to move beyond slogans and bumper stickers. We’re smarter than these “slogan makers” give us credit for.
