Portland rejected FBI terror force for fear of profiling Muslims. FBI saves clueless city from Muslim bomber anyway.
Politically correct city leaders of Portland, Oregon, voted in 2005 to not allow city law enforcement officers to participate in the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force for fear that President Bush would discriminate against Muslims. While the local police force watched the Christmas ceremony, completely clueless to the bomb plot to kill thousands of gathered residents, the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force saved the city from catastrophe. The city officials say they might re-think their participation now that Barack Obama is in the White House. They also stated that now that Barack Obama is in office they will start taking their vitamins, stop eating sticks of butter, stop sleeping in water fountains, and stop hitting themselves in the head with shoes. They stated that the fact that this bomber was Muslim was a complete coincidence, and they worry for the safety of their Muslim population.
